Take me back BandsOfTheBay members. Take. Me. Back -– to a time of hair rock and polyester bellbottoms. We’re seeing double at BOTB will our cover band members. From Santa Rosa’s Band Camp, bringing to us the familiar sounds of Bon Jovi and AC/DC to the East Bay’s Dirk Diggler and His 12 Inch Band, covering four decades of the music that came before.

One of the most popular eras for these cover bands to tribute their lungs and soul to spans the 70’s and 80’s. There must be something all-too-tantalizing about the time when pop icons were able to wail their guts out on stage, wearing nothing more than snakeskin-print spandex and a perm, and still look tough. Sigh. Those were the days.
